*As of February 5th, 2013 BES membership has voted, by majority, to support national legislation for the Equal Rights Amendment and state legislation abolishing the Death Penalty in the State of Maryland. * * * *The Maryland House and Senate will hear Death Penalty legislation on Feb. 14th, just seven days from now. EAC needs volunteers to help draft a letter of thanks to those legislators who have already supported this Bill, as well as a letter to those who have not yet shown their support, urging them to do so.
