This is a good point, will the final destination server hide the original
client name and address and assume name and address from the proxy box?
If you are familiar with squid, you can configure it to appear to be a
different hostname and ip address than what it really is.
Also, how can I get the logins to be checkpoint fw-1 style:
remote_user@fw_user@dest
remote_pw@fw_pw
'@' signs instead of ':'
That would be a great help as that's what we run in production and I'm
looking to replace it.
If not, how hard of a mod would that be?
