  Hi,
I did not find any digest of this list on the www.ftpproxy.org, so
i
decided to ask my question here.

I installed ftpproxy and put it on port 6969. A client connects
from
the local network, but different subnet than the proxy is in. And
thus the client is supposed to get outside into the internet and
  reach a desired FTP server.

But the client gets a 500 - Service unavailable error. In syslog I
  get:

Feb 12 16:45:47 tristar ftp.proxy[4139]: connected to client:
223.2.17.1
Feb 12 16:45:47 tristar ftp.proxy[4139]: info: monitor mode: on, ccp:
<unset>
Feb 12 16:45:48 tristar ftp.proxy[4139]: -ERR: missing hostname

I found the chunk of code in ftp.c (lines 1274-1284) that gives
this error,
but i don't speak german (the comments are in it) and I'm not a C
coder,
so I didn't understand why i get that error.

Although from my own PC i have no problems connecting. Maybe it's a
problem on the clients PC ? And what kind of problem could tha be
?

  Thanks for any help.

  P.S. I'm usig version 1.1.5
