To all those interested in the maintenance of ftp.proxy It appears that ftp.proxy is no longer being maintained by Andreas Schoenberg. I have had no replies to my patch emails. Indeed it appears that others have had the same experience.
I have just sent a last email to Andreas in the hope that he will respond, requesting that he hand over the maintenance to another. Does anyone on this have any information from Andreas that says that he is interested in continuing the maintenance. Presuming there is no response from him, I am planning to take over the maintenance of the project from him. I do not want to do this against his (or anyone else's) wishes. So if anyone has any objections, please let me know - I would also appreciate any messages of support too! My plan is to register the project on SourceForge and take it from there. I try to use ftp.proxy for a protected server, but with some troubles.
