<x-flowed> Hello, I took a look at the source code. The only position where `missing hostname' is returned is where the proxy looks for the `@' character for server selection. Now your proxy command line defines clearly an FTP server, so server selection shouldn't be the case. But, as far as I remember, when you use a configuration file, the server argument on the command line is ignored (multiple proxy interfaces may define different proxy modes). When you add
server 172.18.64.5 to your configuration section instead of adding it to the command line > Start commandline: > > ftp.proxy -l -y -f /usr/local/etc/proxy.conf 172.18.64.5 > is should work. Well, it does not work. I test the "server 172.18.64.5" directive in proxy.conf (general) proxy.conf (host specific) and both entries together. Do you have another hint? Well i don't depend on starting ftp.proxy from the command line. i thinks there are no special configs. i just want user auth and command control.
