I'll second that.

We started using it months ago and submitted a question to the list
about it but never heard back. Anyone know what's up with Active FTP
and ftp.proxy?

Cheers,

~Ethan B.

Hello,

I don't see any problem with active mode. I use this on a regularly
base. So, any debug logs a appreciated.

It seems that the DATA connection is blocked.

Try using passive mode or check firewall logs. Also a debug log from
the ftp.proxy could be helpful.

All
Can you all kindly help me out in configuring FTP Proxy for
accepting connections from Solaris & Windows Clients. Currently when I
try to access it using Windows & Solaris Clients the connection goes
thru fine but the data transfer is stuck in the port switching problems
i.e. between PASV & ACTIVE. Do let me know how to resolve this issue.
Connections from Linux Clients goes thru fine.

Regards

Samuel Victor
