Hi Tom + Jürgen, Tom reported some similar bug as in the current thread "Lost Vmware window" (unfortunately not in the mail archive) in 2008 here:

Could you please both check out the branch dv/fix-disappering-windows from the git repository and check that both your problems are /still) fixed?
