Also, in 9, the system profiler
reports my CPU as being 450 MHz instead of 300 like it
should... X records it right.
...but X reports it right so you need not worry, actually my 300mhz
wallstreet is reported as 450mhz in OS 9 as well so there may be some
reading error causing this. Over all, it does not really matter since
it is not causing any damage to the machine, however, it may be to your
advantage if you are showing your machine to your friends...
Any suggestions?
None on the above since none is needed, though...
you might want to try and do the reset as dictated on the back of the
machine next to the ADB port and let it cycle through a few chimes.
Note the machine may give you a flashing floppy ? after this but for me
will eventually find something to boot, usually OS 9 as opposed to OS
10, so I just set it in the control panel as needed. You may want to
have a bootable classic OS on cd on hand follow this, 8.1 (I think)
through whatever version of 9 you can conjure.
