A minor correction, Greg. You wrote of "Cross's and Goranson's theory" that zealots briefly held Qumran in 68 CE. Perhaps you meant "Allegro's and Goranson's" theory.
That's interesting Stephen. I have always wondered whether the Masada holdouts were, in fact, Qumran people....the "sons of light" in the final battle.
