Hi All,

I wonder if it is possible to control level of logging for Ganglia gmond
processes somehow?

For example, I've used all the compute node's gmond in deaf mode with
unicast, sending data to a few master gmond's . In case one of the masters
is down, which happen time to time, the node's gmod's report connection
failures to syslog, creating a bit of traffic (as our compute nodes
forward syslog to a log server).

Is there an option to suspend the logging or change its level? I couldn't
find anything in the example gmond.conf about it..
