God it hurts when they go :( Very sorry.  I don't think we realize exactly
how attached to them we are until it happens :(

I cried for a long time. when I first moved here I had no friends and no geckos, I convinced my mom to let me do a progect on fish, and I got to keep them, so they became my only friends. so far I have lost 3. You never realize how much they mean to you until its two late.
