Hi all, My female crested is in her first year of breeding. So far she has laid 1 clutch of eggs (45 days ago), and looks like she is gravid again (I think), she has been digging around the tank over the last week or so, but I dont think she's laid, and havent seen her digging anywhere over the last day or two. Last night I noticed that she was shaking and twitching, particularly in her legs and toes. I hand fed her some babyfood with vits/calcium last night and this morning, and she was very easy to catch (usually she is dashing around her viv trying to avoid me) so I know there's something not right.
I have been supplementing her diet as usual, but I'm guessing this is a vitamin
deficiency? or could it be something else?, could she be egg bound?
What's the best thing I can do for her?
-should I separate her from the male to her own tank- or would the move cause more
stress?
-if I feed her babyfood/livefood with extra supplements will she improve enough, or
should I be doing something else?
Thanks for any help,
Pauline
