However, it is annoying but a minor problem I think. The problem here is, that the current fullscreen implementation is done to work around some weird stuff in some window managers (namely Gnome and KDE but mostly Gnome). It is hard to find a working way in all window managers. The original version from gqview was working with most window managers but had have some issues in Gnome and KDE (I do not remember exactly what it was). That was the reason for all this patches out there that tried to fix the fullscreen behaviour in one or the other window managers but made it even worse for all others. The current implementation works on all window managers I know with the small drawback of the focusing problem for windows behind. If you find a way to fix that too, patches are welcome. But please be sure that it works not only for one window manager.
