I have a script that makes 6 successive HTTP requests via LWP::UserAgent. It runs fine and takes only about 3 seconds, but whenever it is run I start receiving alerts that my website is responding slowly to requests. This lasts for up to around 10 minutes. I've tried turning the timeout down to 3 seconds and I've tried LWPx::ParanoidAgent but the behavior is the same.
Can anyone tell me how to go about tracking this down? - Grant
