According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_graphics_media_accelerator the 3100 chip is very similar to the GMA 950, which works very well under Linux. The G33 and friends are listed in drm_pciids.txt, under i915, and Mesa has an i915 driver. So it should work fine.
