Not that I'm particularly interested in DOS support, but just yesterday
I helped somebody run an old DOS game under Ubuntu :) Both dosemu and
dosbox are available from the package manager.  And both ran the old
game out-of-the-box.  Also both seem to support x86-64 via intergrated
CPU emulation:
