I'm taking a Macromedia Flash class this week and one of the things I'll
want to do afterward is find a way to make flash stuff on Linux. So far I
have not been able to find any tools.

I was wondering if anyone was working on a plugin to save images to .swf
format?

More info on the format and SDKs can be found here:

http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/open/whitepaper/
http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/open/spec/

and some other stuff here:

I've also seen some news that Corel Draw can export SWF files. I'm not a
big fan of Corel at all and I the Gimp is how I like to do things.

Thanks in advance for any information on the topic.

Keep on Gimpin'
