  For the general population, I concur.  But just as a datapoint, at
Hosstraders (hamfest, with a distinctly technically-minded audience),
people were much more likely to sit down and try things.  Just FYI.

  I have access to a Dell laptop with a 17" display that I think I
could adapt to the cause.  It looks real nice.  My big concern is
battery life; the giant screen sucks down juice like a Major League
Baseball pitcher.  Will there be a power source we can tap?  120 VAC
would be ideal.  12 VDC from a car works but is suboptimal.

  To be fair, I'll ask if Red Hat can cough up some Fedora discs.  If
they don't, their loss.
