Nope. Looks like a hybrid between: * Microsoft's idea of "community", SharePoint and all; and * those websites you get when you misspell a URL in Google (e.g. http://vnn.com/).
I'd just ignore this group of self appointed leaders who can't seem to grasp English grammar. As for advertising value- people who care about those Technet and SQL Server already know how to find us should they seek the light.
