NEW  AUDIO CASSETTE  RELEASED IN KUWAIT.

Mario one of the well known persons from Navelim popularly known as Katty de 
Navelim has just released his first Konkani Audio Cassette in Kuwait on 3rd 
of this month during the annual function of Navelim Club at one of the city 
hotels.  Navelim Club is very popular in Kuwait having its soccer team which 
creates lot of ripples at Sour Ground.  Mario is one of the important 
members of this club who is very much devoted to the activities of this 
club, of course along with other members who are also giving their best for 
the promotion of their club activities in Kuwait. Mario or Katty de Navelim 
is a lover of Konkani and Konkani culture, tradition and Tiatro.  In the 
past he acted in Tiatro organized locally.   He has contributed in whatever 
way he can for the promotion of Konkani Tiatro either by helping the 
organizers or by acting.

The newly released Audio Cassette “DENNEM’ consists of 5 solos and 2 jokes 
in side “A” while in side “B” there are 4 solos, 2 jokes and one duet.

The title song Dennem is well rendered by Katty himself which is in praise 
of children especially the females.  The other song “Chuk Konnachi” by Oswie 
Viegas in which he shows the plight of children’s sufferings.  Third song 
“Rinn” by Felcy where she advises to avoid involving in Loans.  Ex Kuwait 
Goan artiste Xavier Gomes sings his solo on “Zolmanchem Ghor” where he 
describes the importance of ancestral homes.  Menino Mario sings on 
“Dusreank Dukoinaka”.  Well known comedians Agostinho and Domnick performs  
two jokes.

In side “B” Osvie Viegas sings “Atanche Ixtt” on dangers of nowadays 
friends. Second song “Mogachem Duens” by Juju Barreto.  “Vhoni ani Dher” a 
duet by Menino Mario and Felcy on the plight of a widow who thinks of 
migrating to Gulf for the sake of her children.  “Golfantlo Bachelor” a solo 
by Katty de Navelim on irresponsible behaviour of a young married man in 
Kuwait. The last song of this cassette is rendered by Jose Rod “Magnnem” in 
which he advises people to help the needy.  There are two jokes in this 
side, one by Agostinho and Janet and the other by Agostinho and Domnick.

Musical score  for this cassette was provided by Maestro Josinho while 
Lyrics by Katty.

Since this is the first cassette of Mario it would be nice for the lovers of 
Konkani and Konkani art to support Mario by purchasing this cassette.  
Possibly, Very shortly this cassette is going to be pirated here and there 
and thus unknown people will make money out of hard work of Mario – this has 
to be prevented.
