Dear all,

about two weeks ago I wrote a post, similar to the one Alexander Willner just
wrote. And a few people thought the same way. Since I'm not a developer and I
don't know anything about the differences between sourceforge/Github/googlecode
and can't tell the differnce between a fork and a port etc I think I would have
caused more damage than done good to the project. That's why I can't take the
leadership for setting up a proper place for GPG Mail plugin.

Alexander Willner, if you have the time to do this, I think everybody would
apreaciate it if you would make this move. Although much work can be split up
(e.g. Lukas did the main programming and porting to 10.6, I remember Charly
Avital once had some nice tutorials on how to setup ev.th.) there has to be a
point where everything comes together or else this technology won't be able to
spread and the work remains know to only some members of this mailing-list
(which is a great thing to have - but just not enough).

The steps that have to be taken are quite obvious:
- Setup a proper place for GPG Mail
- Delete duplicate functionality sites (or setup a link to the main place and
delete all other information)
- get rid of the dropbox distribution ;)
- make sente.ch update his site (even though this would possible mean to take
out GPG Mail from there, since he hasn't posted any news or updates for over a
year now)

I'd be willing to do some of that, as far as my capabilities go (e.g. I could
get in touch with sente and do that part).

Any volunteers?

Cheers to all keeping this alive and kicking!

k.
