Dear Heidi,

I am writing in response to your query regarding the establishment of Adloyada. 
 Following discussion with colleagues here at LC, we recommend that you propose 
this as a subject heading and not a name heading.  Adloyada is a type of 
festival, and not one specific festival per se.  There are Adloyada festivals 
held in numerous cities.  We therefore suggest the following treatment:

150 Adloyada (Festival)

550  Purim

550  Festivals

952  LC Pattern: Jonkonnu (Festival)

We recommend that you also have a 670 for the EJ entry, where you might want to 
cite the rabbinic saying from which the term is derived--ad de-lo yada.
