Thank you! I was hoping that the alignment would be o.k. even if it did not
look correct in OCLC.

Don't worry about it. It will line up correctly in your local computer files.

Subject: alignment in authority records in OCLC

Dear group,

I am having difficulty getting the alignment of Hebrew and mixed
Hebrew/romanized fields correct in authority records in OCLC. If I uncheck the
Align Right under View in the menu then the 670 aligns left, but so does the
Hebrew 400. If I leave the Align Right checked then the Hebrew 400 is aligned
right, but so is the 670. If I leave the Align Right under View selected but
then unselect Right-to-Left Reading Order from the right mouse button menu
for the 670 field, then it aligns on the left correctly, but as soon as I save
the record the 670 flips again to right alignment.

Has anyone had better success in getting the correct alignment?

Thank you,

Jerry Anne Dickel
