One point to raise with OCLC is the problem of Gershayim in Hebrew script abbreviations: I use for Gershayim the < " > key on the Hebrew keyboard (the same key used for quotation mark in English. The Gershayim splits the abbreviations in OCLC to two strings: so צה"ל or ארה"ב have a space. Try a Hebrew word search for צה"ל and you will get the following error message:
"Mismatched Double quotes found. Please change or simplify your search and try again." Past RLIN users used another key for the Gershayim < ״ > - this is a key the is not represented in the regular keyboard we are using with Connexion All Hebrew Bibliographic records that were loaded from the National Library in Jerusalem use the quotation mark for Gershayim and the only way to find all books that have ארה"ב in them need to be searched by ארה We should ask OCLC to treat the Quotation mark in Hebrew script records not as Blank or Space, but to ignore it and collapse the two strings around it to one string (ארה"ב to be read as ארהב) .
