Hi all, I just want to enter Farsi (Persian) text in the subject or body of a phone ticket but it converts automatically to their Unicode hexadecimal codes. For example if I enter Farsi word فارسی into the subject of a phone ticket it will be changed to: فارسی that is Unicode character code for 5 alphabet word فارسی after saving. I tested it with both latest version of OTRS and ITSM installed on my local MS Windows 2003 machine (utf-8 enabled) and the live demo at demo.otrs.org. Please note that we haven't such a problem with earlier versions of OTRS (8 month ago).
Farsi (Persian) is a Right to Left manuscript like Arabic and Hebrew and is official language of I.R.Iran, Tajikistan and Afghanistan. Regards Afshar Mohebbi
