Hi,

For your issue you need to enable Secure Mode, that is to say:
SecureMode = Yes (either in Config.pm , $Self->{'SecureMode'} = '1'; or in
Sysconfig)

But please note that the "i18n" mailing list is only for translation issues.
You should subscribe to o...@otrs.org instead.

Regards,
Bastien

Objet : [otrs-i18n] How can I edit SysConfig?

Hi, everybody.
I have freshly installed otrs2.4.4
My OS:
 uname -a
FreeBSD fraser.700.su 7.2-RELEASE FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE #0: Fri May  1 07:18:07
UTC 2009     r...@driscoll.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC  amd64

I created an user, gave him admin's rights on otrs.
I need to make some configuration changes.
I edited otrs/Kernel/Config.pm:

$Self->{'SecureMode'} = '0';

Then restarted apache22.
I successfully login to otrs's Admin's section,
click SysConfig link, and, instead of screen whith system's configuration
options, I receive this warning message:

"Secure Mode need to be enabled!
Secure mode will (normally) be set after the initial installation is completed.
Secure mode must be disabled in order to reinstall using the web-installer.
If Secure Mode is not activated, activate it via SysConfig because your
application is already running. "
<http://192.168.1.61/otrs/index.pl?Action=AdminSysConfig&Subaction=Edit&SysConfigGroup=Framework&SysConfigSubGroup=Core>

If I click this link (If Secure Mode..etc) I receive the only SysConfig screen
- Config Options: Framework -> Core,
where Secure Mode option is NO, but no one option is editable, i.e. I can't
save any parameter.

Of all possible options in SysConfig I am able to reach only one: Config
Options: Framework -> Core !

When I click the SysConfig link again, it rerurns me the warning message I
wrote above.

I'm not new to otrs. I have installed and configured my production otrs2.2.

But how can I edit SysConfig on otrs2.4.4?

P.S. If i login with r...@localhost nothing changes. The same warning message.
I tried to edit otrs/Kernel/Config/Files/ZZZAuto.pm - commented the line
$Self->{'SecureMode'} = '0'; nothing changed.
