Bob Viviano keeps his clicker trained trick horse, Crackers, at the barn where I teach. I've helped at a couple of demos with them this summer.
Crackers is a 25 yr old Appaloosa, who has been on Animal Planet's Funniest Home Videos and was invited to appear on David Letterman's Late Night show. He did a great performance last month at Paul Newman's Double H Hole in the Woods Camp for the most severely handicapped children I've ever seen at a summer camp. It was very touching to see these children petting Crackers and enjoying his performance. Last Sunday, Crackers did the Electric Slide line dance at the Saratoga Race Track Open House. He performed on the racetrack in front of the grandstand, while the crowd danced on the sidelines. He also did his mailbox trick, which was on Animal Planet. It went really well and we even made the local TV news! I have a little video of it that I'll upload tomorrow! Mary Sand Lake, NY
