dear all, virtualbox is a GPL-ed software. a binary closed-source version of the same software is available as freeware with added features.
i can't understand how come this is not a violation of the terms of the GPL, specifically modifications must also be released under GPL. the authors do claim they may eventually roll the enhancements in the GPL version. take a look here: http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Editions please explain. thanks regards niyam -- niyam bhushan _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/
