Kanbay Software.

Kanbay is a premier global systems integrator providing high-
quality, high-value solutions to the insurance, banking, lending, 
credit card, and securities industries. With corporate offices in 
Rosemont, Illinois, they have over 3,500 associates in 14 locations 
throughout India, The US, Europe, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore & 
Japan. 
 

1) Opportunity: Technical Architect (ETL) –
 
Job Location : Hyderabad /Pune

Job Description  
-          Doing assessments at client Sites.
-          Requirement gathering at client site
-          Architecting BI solutions for reporting & Data 
warehousing 
-          Supporting pre-sales support from architecture and 
technical support perspective.
-          Internal knowledge building & transfer to other promising 
associates.
-          Writing white papers & Case studies.  

Skills Required
-          8-10yrs of IT industry exp with the below skills :
-          Data bases : Oracle/DB2/Teradata/Microsoft.
-          Modelling : Knowledge of ER modelling/ Dimensional 
modelling
-          ETL Tools : Datastage Px / Ab initio / Informatica.
-          Reporting Tools : Business Objects XI/ Cognos Report net/ 
Microstrategy / MS - Reporting services.
-          Environment : Unix with good knowledge of Shell scripting.
-          Others : Additional Knowledge of mainframes / Java will 
be added advantage. Actuate, Brio will be preferred.  


2) Opportunity: Developer / Sr. Developer (DataStage)
 
Job Location : Pune

Job Description  
- Understanding requirements.
- Developing the ETL scripts or reporting screens.
- Developing reporting or extraction queries etc. 
- Mapping document creation 

Skills Required
-          4-7 yrs of IT industry exp with the below skills :
-          Data bases : Oracle/DB2/Teradata/Microsoft.
-          Modelling : Knowledge of ER modelling/ Dimensional 
modelling
-          ETL Tools : Datastage Px 
-          Reporting Tools : Business Objects XI/ Cognos Report net/ 
Microstrategy / MS - Reporting services.
-          Environment : Unix with good knowledge of Shell scripting.
-          Others : Additional Knowledge of mainframes / Java will 
be added advantage.
