I believe this is because the suspend that the suspend button and the lid closing isn't really a suspend. Noticably, the battery discharges much faster than either save to disk OR save to ram. I'm not sure why they made it that way, but for some reason I seem to be in the habbit of ^H instead of backspace. Strange. On Tue, 26 Jan 1999, Werner M.
