Problem solved.  Just a note to anyone who is interested, if you upgrade to
the new kernel and to the new pcmcia-cs package, you need to update dhcpcd
(if you are using dynamic ip's).  I was using version 0.70.  Now I'm using a
higher version, and it works fine.  That was my problem.
