I think I spoke too soon. When I start X11 in full screen mode and
switch to rootless, then I have the problem, but if I start it in
rootless mode with only one screen then it makes room for the menu bar.
Now that I have ion-2 working on OSX (I'd love to see ion-2 as a Fink
package!) I will have to learn about all the FloatWS, menus, etc. that
I've been missing. So far I'm very impressed. Thanks again, Tuomo et
