Thanks. But my problem is in Acrobat 6.0, i am getting a message that connection to the URL fails. But in Acrobat 8.0 it doesnot show any message/reply if fails. I want to know if we can handle the connection fail in an iText API call. For example, i want to know if i can use an iText API (or Acro JS) to check if connection to a given URL is success. I want to know how to find if the URL specified in the createSubmitForm() is available (connectable) or not. In other words, How to identify if submit fails and display a message. For example: I have the code piece like PdfAction action1 = PdfAction.createSubmitForm(http://localhost:8080/abc/xyz.jsp <http://localhost:8080/abc/xyz.jsp> , null, PdfAction.SUBMIT_XFDF); If the server in localhost:8080 is not connectable (server not started) how i can display a message/alert.
