The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is seeking a Library Client Services Team Leader (Senior Librarian) for its Joint Bank Fund Library. The Joint Bank Fund Library in Washington, DC is a large specialized library serving the information needs of two international organizations: the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group. The Library provides centralized leadership and services to a group of smaller libraries across both institutions in addition to its own services. Known for its innovation, the Library has a very high satisfaction rating with its clientele for the broad array of electronic and print content provided and its research services. The Library Client Services Team Leader is one of three team leaders in the library and is responsible for establishing strategic direction and policies for delivery of library user services to the IMF and the World Bank Group. The leader of this team is responsible for collaborating closely with other Joint Library team leaders and librarians of other IMF and World Bank libraries (the Library Network) in leading change as the services of the Library evolve in line with information and knowledge management best practices and the businesses needs of the institutions.
