Hi Lenny, Yes, you will get that message when all of the unchecked items have been removed. Actually, if the programs have already been uninstalled from the system then the unchecked items in the startup list will not cause any problems, they are just harmless remnants.

After that, close the system configuration utility,and then run msconfigdisabled. When you run the script, it should ask if you want to remove any items, and you need to tab to the yes button and spacebar that. At this point, it should give you the name of an item, and ask if you want to remove it, and you will tab to the yes button and spacebar it. Sometimes it is necessary to use the Jaws cursor to get the info you are looking for. Give this a try and let us know what happens.
