Updated patch for review on JDO-735 "Make PersistenceManager and Query support AutoCloseable (JDK1.7+)" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-735 Question: what is the exact meaning of "the query result can no longer be used" after calling Query.closeAll If an iterator is obtained and then the result is closed, what is the expected behavior? The spec defines the behavior of an iterator acquired from the queryResult. AI Update the spec 14.6.7 to specify the behavior of the queryResult beyond “can no longer be used”. Suggest throwing a JDOUserException on all methods. TCK tests should at least test methods size(), get(), iterator(), and isEmpty().
