JDO-759 "Spec update to clarify whether methods that are documented to be hints must not throw exceptions" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-759 Should we mandate that hinted methods that are not implemented must throw exceptions if the called object is closed? Since there is no way to test this behavior, the spec should not mandate it. So we should use “should” to describe the behavior. 3. JDO-735 "Make PersistenceManager and Query support AutoCloseable (JDK1.7+)" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-735 Patch looks good. Ship it. 4.
