Request to participate in the celebration of World Day Against Child Labour and Child Labour Elimination Campaign week (June 12-18, 2008) Sir/Madam,, Foundation for Children & Community (FCC) in collaboration with State Legal Service Authority (SLSA) and its network members like Jeevan Rekha Parishad (JRP), Madat, VJSS, IDS, DARIA, NADABRAHMA is observing the World Day Against Child Labour on 12th June, 2009 at 3.30 pm in the conference hall of Indian Red Cross Society, Bhubaneswar. Attended by the vulnerable children of the stone crushers, civil society organizations, Govt. representatives the programme will be inaugurated by Shri. Puspendra Singh Deo, Minister of State(Ind.), Govt. of Orissa. The objective of the programme is to sensitize the policy makers, media and civil society organization on the situation of child labour is Orissa especially in the stone crushers and other hazardous places and develop strategic intervention for the urgent action to tackle the worst form of child labour. We, therefore, request you to kindly accept our invitation and grace the occasion and provide your support to lunch the week long child labour campaign from 12th June to 18th June, 2009.
