[jibx-users] Base element type java.util.Locale must be mapped - how?

This is my first posting to this mailing-list, so be gentle with me :-)

I'm trying out different XML frameworks for a large-ish java project, and
jibx is one of the ones we're looking at. Part of this is because if we
could auto-generate some of the binding.xml needed, that would save us a lot
of time.

But when I try using it, I get the following message:

C:\foo\bar\build\classes>java -cp .;../../lib/jibx-genbinding.jar;../.

org.jibx.runtime.JiBXException: Base element type java.util.Locale must be

org.jibx.binding.BindingGenerator.defineFields(BindingGenerator.java:359)

and so on.

I've searched your mailing list for this issue, and only a few came up - a
couple from 3 years ago, and one more current. Unfortunately, the ones from
3 years ago only had a bit of information saying that the source of the
error would be fixed in the up-coming version, and the newest one had no
replies...

Is there any way to get past this issue? Can I partially build the
bindings.xml file by hand so Locale is mapped in there if needed?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
