Dear Friends,
For some time now I was writing to you about the One Month Cultural
Exchange Program for Youth. I have already received very favourable
reply from Gujarat and a few others also have replied. The coming of
youth fromJharkand and Chathisghat states are almost confirmed. But
regarding the other states............some other means will have to be
identified.

But a few interesting things have happened these days.
Last week I happened to visit one of the Minor seminaries, nearby. There
I saw a board saying that , that congregation has got houses in the
state of Rajasthan. But at that time I was very busy and I had to leave
that place, but I told the Superior that I have got a serious thing to
discuss with him and I will be coming back again.

Then the next day, together with the Kanjirappally JY co ordinator, I
met the superior and discussed the matter and he agreed to sent letters
to the priests in the state of Rajasthan.
We hope that it will bring some fruits.

The superior told us that, a congregation of the sisters from
Kanjirappally also are having houses in that area. We tried to contact
the provincial of this area, but she was not available. We have decides
to meet her soon and discuss the matter with her and we hope that she
also will agree to write to her convents in Rajasthan.

Also the provincials of a cogregation who are having houses in almost
all the states of the country are meeting in Cochin by the end of this
month. We have already written a letter to the Mother General requesting
to allow us to have an interaction with them during their meeting. We
hope that they will agree to that request.

Thase are some of the developments. Have you started praying for this.
Have you started doing something for the Youth Exchange Program.

With Love,
Chackochan Njavallil, Project Co ordinator.
