[jQuery] JQuery Email Validation does not work

I am on JQuery 1.4.1 using validation fromawork by Jörn Zaefferer 1.6
version.
I need to send multiple comma separated emails .
It fails for the following format
FirstName Last Name [firstName dot lastName at xyz dot com]

Please guide.
