        Hello! I presume you're asking about the GetEngaged registration
and partnership server, and not Kaboodle itself. If so...the unfortunate
answer is no: I've not clearly documented the Privacy Policy we have
for that server and the information users provide for it. A user asked
about this last year as well, when I wrote:

        Heya. All good questions. It's actually been a concern of many
Kaboodle users over the years -- the security of a basing our  
GetEngaged
authentication on public/private keypairs is a Good Thing, but  
there is
no "de-facto standard" for us to base those keyfiles on, so we  
wrote our
own...and the privacy concerns (if not handled perfectly well) make  
that
a Bad Thing.

        In the future, I expect we'll be forced to change the  
authentication
mechanism, so that Kaboodle generates its own keyfiles, and users
simply email them to each other. Since that's harder to use than we
originally envisioned...we may even fall back to simple "passwords"
for GetEngaged connections.

        In any case...I'll post some text onto the GetEngaged  
website to
answer the perfectly valid concerns you wrote about. Thanks for
bringing it to my attention.

        Unfortunately, I remain delinquent about getting some text onto the
GetEngaged website. I've been putting a lot of effort into the 2.0  
release,
which will not require this certificate server approach at all.  
That's not
much of an excuse, I admit, but it's a reason that -- in my mind --  
it's not
going to be a longterm issue as the server will not long be needed.
