I'm not sure exactly what would be good to cover, though. I could start from the beginning, assuming only basic Perl knowledge, but I'm concerned that that might be a bit boring. Or I could rip through a few basics and concentrate on more advanced stuff (like how classes work, the standard libraries, and what's new in Python 2). I could also talk about a substantial project (see subterfugue.org) that I wrote in Python.
