Prisoners of War issue Kuwait invites Ansar Burney:

KARACHI, Pakistan: In recognition for the great human rights
services of renowned human and civil rights activist, the
government of the State of Kuwait has officially invited Mr
Ansar Burney, Advocate to visit Kuwait and to meet the
unfortunate families of the Prisoners of War.

The Consul General of Kuwait in Pakistan His Excellency Abdul
Karim Y. Aboghaith, met with the Chairman of the human rights
group "Ansar Burney Welfare Trust International" Mr Ansar Burney
and gave him the invitation letter.

"The National Committee for Missing and Prisoners of War’s
Affairs, State of Kuwait, would like to invite you to visit
State of Kuwait in the recognition of your services for
Human Rights", the Letter said.

"During your visit to Kuwait the Missing and Prisoners of War’s
Affairs will arrange your meetings with the concern authorities
and officials, and will showing you the destruction in Kuwait
caused by the aggression of Iraqi regime on August 2, 1990",
the Invitation letter added.

"The Committee will discuss with you about Prisoners of
War, and will also arrange meetings with the families of
Kuwaiti P.O.W’S who are suffering and waiting for you and
other Human Rights organizations to raise there voice for
there kith and kin’s. They look forward to Ansar Burney
Welfare Trust International and other human rights
organizations to help to get them release from the
Iraqi Prisons." the Letter further added.

The Consul General informed Ansar Burney that to please
Almighty Allah the Kuwait government has always under
the great leadership of His Highness Amir Sheikh Jaber
Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has been rendering great
services for humanity in Kuwait and around the World.

Meanwhile the Ansar Burney Welfare Trust International
has accepted the invitation. The Chairman Ansar Burney,
Vice Chairperson Shaheen Burney and Syed Fahad Ahmed
Burney, Vice Chairman will officially visit Kuwait
in the month of March.
