The Cleveland Museum of Art has put 1165 lace records online. For some reason, a simple search of the word "lace" does not bring them up, although "bobbin" brings up all the bobbin lace. This collection includes 1/3 of the legendary Ida Schiff Collection which was used in Old Italian Lace by Elisa Ricci. All the accession numbers beginning in 1920 are most likely Ida Schiff pieces. The Schiff Collection included very old laces, going back to the 17th and possibly the 16th century. Here is a link that should take you to both the needle and bobbin lace in the Cleveland Museum.
