Dear Friend of the LAFD:
The men and women of the Los Angeles Fire Department will be
operating with greater efficiency and peace of mind, thanks to
Mazda's recent donation of five clean-burning, fuel-efficient
prototype Tribute Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) to the LAFD fleet.
The public and media are welcome at a ceremony this afternoon in
Hollywood, where these Tribute HEVs, carrying the familiar City Seal
and LAFD markings, will be formally accepted by Fire Department
officials.
