We went to an antique show yesterday in Tacoma and it was appalling the amount of family photos that were for sale at prices from a minimum of $10 each to over $50! My husband and I made a decision to check with our children & nieces & nephews and see what photos they wanted......the rest will be burned! We have no desire to look down, or up, as the case might be and see our photos scattered about to make people money. Back to my reason for writing this. There was an album with photos and clippings about GRACE TOLSON, Omaha & Lyons, who was Miss Nebraska in 1926. Had photos & newspaper clippings about her trip to Texas to vie for the Miss America crown. The album was not in very good condition and the dealer wanted $75 for it. I had no family interest in it and was unwilling to spend that much to see if I could find the family. However if anyone is related to GRACE TOLSON and would like to acquire the album please contact me directly as I have the dealer's card with address/phone/fax number and would be glad to furnish it to anyone interested.
