Ellaine,I thought that I sent a message a week ago, but I could be mistaken. Sorry that you missed the event it was excellent.
We had about 60 people attending including several vendors with some books and other wares. There were small group lectures every hour on various topics. There was a raffle, and we gave away two copies of Legacy 6 Deluxe.
I was at the event with a table to promote a New England Legacy Users Group. I spoke with many people and demo'ed the product. I was showing it to many people who were using TMG and FTM and I was surprised how many were excited by what they saw. Most FTM people were initially not interested in looking at another product, but, when I showed them about what you can do with events and sources - especially the clipboard, they all of a sudden wanted to learn more.
The new Publishing Center feature was something that excited many people, especially ones that had seen Legacy a long time ago.
We have a great product and should not lose sight of the forest for a few twigs that may be broken.
If anyone is interested in joining our mailing list: [EMAIL PROTECTED]We started the group a few years ago and held irregular meetings in Burlington, MA. I have since moved to Nashua, NH, and plan to have some meetings here in Nashua. If you would like to participate, please contact me privately.
I believe the next of these New England Genealogy Shows is going to be in May in Connecticut. Contact Mr. Bunnell for more information.
