lftp 426 server reply missed

If I type "kill all", it kills the current operation but after that it
says 426 server reply missed and gets stuck at the next command in
queue. I cannot do anything after that. If I try to mirror another
directory, it just gets stuck at "Changing directory...". The only way
to continue using the FTP server is by exiting lftp and running it
again.

I have tried versions 4.0.5 and 4.0.6 and the same thing happens. I'm
using PureFTPd. I don't have any problem using other FTP clients.
