Now, that's a real bummer-nummer, I say!!! Maybe Charlie should nail the judge with a writ of mandamus and sue him for... whatever?
You see, Jon, I would flatulate that, if you piss *enough* people off, often enough, and badly enough (particularly when the people you're pissing off are federal judges), then you're going to end up in jail. It's kinna like Mr. King found out when he got drunk and led the LAPD on the three-county chase a few years ago... you can beat the rap, but you can't beat the ride! Charlie is what we call a "writ writer"; he floods the system with copious, frivolous, and redundant pleadings, the objective of which are to waste the courts' time and to harass and annoy the person against whom he is pleading. All of his filings appeal neither to law nor logic, but serve simply to generate reams of paperwork. He has been warned time and time again to cease and desist from such activity; he chose to ignore the many warnings and to continue filing writ after writ after writ what are you gonna do? sue him? It sounds like Hughes *finally* got tired of it and slapped his fat ass in jail. Whether or not Charlie's activity constitutes "practicing law" or not isn't the question here that's a technicality. He was jailed for continuing to file meaningless motions before the court *long* after he was ordered to knock it off. Do you suppose that Lincoln will finally get the message that we're sick of his courtroom antics? I'm betting that Hughes is right on the verge of jailing him for a month or two the humor has long since worn off of his nonsense. Let's see how Charlie likes it in jail, shall we?
